Marta

Marta works is a Polish assessor and exam facilitator. A professional translator and interpreter, she is fluent in four languages.

For the last eight years, Marta has been working with companies, translation agencies and private clients delivering translation and interpreting services within Law, Public Services, Business and Marketing.

Francesca

Francesca

Francesca assesses the Italian/English combination. She is s a certified Level 3 Community Interpreter.

Francesca works for several language agencies across different sectors and formats, including telephone, video and face to face interpreting.  Francesca is also working toward her DPSI qualification.

Kiasi

Kiasi

An international business developer with expertise in sales and business management, Kiasi is fluent in five languages.

Kiasi is an experienced translator who has worked in both the public and private sector. Kiasi has a history of working in broadcast media, international organisations, NGOs, asylum support and migration as well as the NHS.

Marta F

Marta F

Marta is a translator and interpreter and translates from English, Galician and Italian into Spanish. Marta holds an MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Westminster and a DPSI from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

Before becoming a translator, Marta spent more nearly 10 years in corporate banking, working mainly in IT and finance with European clients. She specialises in medical, legal and technical texts.

Orget

Orget is an experienced Language Assessor and fully qualified interpreter with a Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Law).

With over eight years of experience as an interpreter and translator, Orget is skilled in multilingual, intercultural communication, linguistics, translation, and foreign languages.

Havrez - Assessor image

Havraz

Havraz’s childhood hobby of interpreting has grown into a vocation. He assesses Arabic and Kurdish, incorporating the two main dialects –  Sorani and Badini.

Havraz has an MSc Transportation Engineering from Budapest University of Technology & Economics, Hungary and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Duhok University, in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. He has taught for more than nine years in Civil Engineering.

Abdullah - Assessor image

Abdullah

Abdullah is a qualified linguist who speaks and assesses Pashto and Urdu. He provides language services to the Ministry of Justice and law enforcement agencies through different organisations.

Abdullah also works for private clients and law firms on a direct access basis. He holds an LLB degree and Master’s in International Business Management as well as his interpreting qualifications.

Deniz- Assessor image

Deniz

Deniz assesses the Turkish/English combination and has worked as an interpreter for the past six years.

Before settling in the UK, Deniz served with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as a Consular Assistant in Turkey. With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Deniz has a wealth on industry experience, both in the private and public sector.

Ann

Ann holds three Level 6 Diplomas in Community Interpreting, English – Polish, Russia and Lithuanian.

Ann also holds CIOL DPSI Certificates in English Law and is a full member CIOL and NRPSI. Ann is a qualified teacher and holds a Master’s in Geography and a Bachelor’s in Natural Science.

Lilija

Lilija has more than seven years of experience as a qualified interpreter and translator and holds a Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting.

Fluent in Lithuanian, Polish and Russian, Lilija provides linguistic services for the Ministry of Justice, the Home Office and independent law firms. Lilija earned a first-class honours degree from The Open University studying Crime and Justice.

Kristina

Kristina has Level 3 and Level 6 qualifications in Community Interpreting.  Her Level 6 diploma allows her to work with the police.

Kristina is a member of the NRPSI. Before becoming an interpreter, Kristina was a textile technologist and holds a Master’s degree in Textile Engineering.

Ivona

Ivona is a Romanian-speaking linguist with over 10 years’ experience in translating, interpreting and tutoring. She holds a Bachelor’s in Economics-Pedagogy and has DipTrans, DPSI Health and DPSI Law from CIOL.

Ivona guides students towards successfully gaining the DPSI, DCI, DipTrans and DPI qualifications, and assisted and assessed many students towards gaining their Level 3 qualifications in interpreting.

Abdulkariim Sheekh

Abdulkariim is a Public Service Interpreter for Arabic, English and Somali culture and languages. He is also a lecturer and facilitator for a Modern Standard Somali Language and Culture Training Course, which includes curriculum and syllabus design, translation, interpreting, preparing, planning and delivering SLP0 – SLP4 course resources and materials from Arabic to Somali.

Having worked for over 30 years as a public servant and in the private sector, Abdulkariim has significantly broadened effectiveness and adaptability within different working environments.

Yusef Haddad

Yusef is an Arabic and Greek interpreter who has worked with public services as well as businesses including Apple, Virgin Media and Lloyds Banking Group.

Yusef is a student himself and is currently working towards the Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting.

Outside of interpreting, Yusef is a qualified Electrical Engineer holding an MSc. in Engineering Management and the NEBOSH General Certificate in workplace Health and Safety.
